Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PhotoZip mobile application ("the App") provided by ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The License
The App is licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's standard end-user license agreement (Apple EULA), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Subscriptions and One-Time Purchases
- PhotoZip Pro Monthly and Yearly are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
- PhotoZip Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro features on your Apple ID permanently. No refunds are offered for unused portions of any subscription term.
- All prices and billing are handled by Apple. We do not store or process your payment information.
3. Free Tier
The App includes a free tier limited to 5 compressions per calendar day, tracked locally on your device. The free tier is offered "as is" and may change at our discretion in future versions of the App.
4. Acceptable Use
By using the App, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where expressly permitted by law.
- Use the App to process content that violates any third-party right (copyright, privacy, etc.) or any applicable law.
- Interfere with or circumvent any billing, quota, or security mechanism of the App.
5. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and brand assets of PhotoZip are the property of . All photos you process remain your own property; we never view, retain, or make any claim to them.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF DATA LOSS.
Although we have designed the App to preserve photo quality, image compression is inherently a lossy process when quality settings are used. You are responsible for keeping your original, uncompressed photos if those originals are important to you.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
8. Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
